Statewide Bans
We do not ship 7-hydroxymitragynine kratom tablets to the following states. Orders placed from these locations are automatically blocked at checkout.
States with Specific Bans
Natural kratom leaf remains legal in these states, but 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) products are specifically prohibited.
KCPA Regulated States
These states have not banned kratom or 7-OH outright but impose caps on 7-OH potency, age limits (typically 21+), and labeling requirements under the Kratom Consumer Protection Act.
- Arizona — Early KCPA adopter; limits 7-OH concentration per product
- Georgia — KCPA enacted Jan. 1, 2025; limits synthetic and high-concentration 7-hydroxymitragynine
- Utah — KCPA limits 7-OH levels and regulates kratom retail sales
- Nevada — First KCPA state; indirectly regulates 7-OH concentration thresholds
- South Carolina — KCPA passed; bans kratom products exceeding 7-OH potency thresholds
- Texas — Synthetic 7-OH banned; natural kratom limited to low 7-hydroxymitragynine levels
- Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Oklahoma, Oregon, Nebraska, South Dakota — KCPA frameworks with various 7-OH content restrictions
Local Bans by State
Where state law otherwise permits kratom, these local jurisdictions have enacted independent bans. Our ZIP check system blocks orders to these locations automatically.
- California — San Diego and Newport Beach; Orange County (unincorporated) banned synthetic kratom products in August 2025
- Illinois — Alton, Jerseyville, Marion, Herrin, and Godfrey
- Oregon — Malheur County
- New Hampshire — Franklin (first municipality in NH to pass a kratom ban)
Important Regulatory Notes
Kratom and 7-OH laws are evolving very rapidly. Some of the above information may have already changed. Always verify with your state's pharmacy board, attorney general, or local municipality before purchasing or traveling with any kratom or 7-OH product. Our live Kratom Regulation Map is updated as laws change.
